- Update 2018: Garbaruk 10 speed wide range cassettes - complete cassettes made in the fashion of SRAM powerdome. Smaller cogs machined from steel block and large cog made of aluminium. These are expensive but wide range and lightweight.
- Leonardi Factory General Lee 25-40T adapter - replaces top 4 gears on SRAM 1030, 1050 or 1070 11-36T cassettes to achieve an 11-40T cassette. Made from aluminium and weighs 190g. When combined with a SRAM 1070 cassette total weight is 340g. SRAM 1070 weighs 362g, so the General Lee results in a modest 22g weight saving;
- Leonardi Factory General Lee 29-42T adapter - replaces top 3 gears on Shimano 11-36 cassettes. Made from aluminium and weighs 158g;
- OneUp Components 42T Sprocket - $100 and adds 55g of weight, you remove one of the smaller gears on a 11-36t cassette;
- e*thirteen EX extended range cog 40t. e*thirteen also make a 42t version. Interesting thing about the 40t version it is designed for use with a 10 speed 11-34 cassette but also works with 9 speed 11-34 cassettes (XTR and XT versions);
- Canfield Bros 9T rear hub - uses a Shimano Capreo style rear hub which allows a 9T small sprocket. This is the opposite approach of adding larger sprockets to the big end of the cassette, but like XX1 requires a special freehub that can accomodate the screw on Capreo sprockets;
- ICE Capreo 9T rear hub - similar to Canfield;
- Chosen Capreo compatible hub;
