DT Swiss 240s front hub 15mm conversion

There are a few options available to convert the DT Swiss 240s front hub to 15mm thru axle.

  • If you've got the 6-bolt IS version then Sellution Components on ebay sell a kit with a replacement axle, bearings and end caps.
  • If you've got the centerlock version then Western Motorsports from Canada sell a kit with a replacement axle, bearings and end caps.

The standard 9mm QR config of these hubs uses 6902 bearings (15mm x 28mm x 7mm).  These replacement axles also require replacement bearings with a larger internal diameter (17mm) to accommodate the new axle.
