Touring with the tandem and bob trailer

Bikepacking with tandem towing bob trailer

Did my first offroad bike tour with the tandem and the bob trailer. Was just a quick overnighter. Tandem tows the bob trailer really well. The long wheelbase of the tandem and the extra weight of two riders mean that you can barely feel the bob trailer. We had about 10kg of gear in it, and the bob trailer weighs about 7kg, so total towing weight was around 17kg.

If you've got a tandem or you need to take a lot of gear on the singletrack then a bob trailer makes a pretty good option.
