Bikepacking setup

Here's a quick run down of my bike packing setup:

  • 10.5kg Anthem X with X-King 2.4 front and Race King 2.2 rear tyres;
  • 2 x 750ml biddons for water when there is plenty of water about (3 x 1L compressible water bottles when more water is needed between stops);
  • Stratospire 2 tent in custom saddle pack as well as tools, tubes, puncture repair kit and medical kit;
  • gels and power bars in small tank bag;
  • alpkit Ti pot , DIY alcohol stove, windshield and fuel in small frame bag. Tea, coffee, sugar and powdered milk, some power bars, leatherman and some zip ties;
  • pump strapped to bike;
  • Gossamer Gear Mariposa Plus back pack containing about 5kg of gear - sleeping mat, sleeping bag, down jacket, set of thermals, cooking system, goretex jacket, misc clothes and food.

Here's the bike and pack loaded for three days in the mountains with my daughter - I'm pretty much carrying two of everything and all the food and water.
