KCNC BE1 bar ends

Picture of KCNC BE1 bar ends in red

These are a really nice bit of gear. Highlights:

  • very light weight - 51g for the pair on my scales;
  • clamp area on the bar is nice and wide;
  • well made and look a million bucks.

Possible drawbacks:

  • small in diameter - although not uncomfortably small
  • don't know how much force the scandium bolts can take - 6nm is laser etched on the bar ends. I had to tighten them to around 9nm to stop them from moving on my carbon bars.

Nice CNC machining results in these bar ends weighing a scant 43g. The ends are aluminium and screw in, so no annoying plastic plugs to fall out.
