Velocity 24" rear wheel

Velocity 24 rear wheel

This sweet little 24" wheel was built by Velocity using their Aeroheat 24" rim which is a twin wall rim with shallow V profile and a Velocity sealed bearing disc hub. The spokes are straight guage with brass nipples.

The wheel weighs 1080g so its no feather weight but it seems pretty solid and should handle a fair amount of abuse at the hands of the kids.

The rim was easy to set-up ghetto tubeless style using some electrical tape, a BMX tube and a scoop of sealant.

If you're in the market for a reasonably priced pre-built 24" wheel, Taylor Wheels do some that they sell on Amazon.
