Actual weights
Rims were slightly heavier than manufacturer claimed weight of 500g. Front rim weighed 510g and rear weighed 516. Final built weights ended up:
- front wheel: 855g in 20mm end cap config;
- rear wheel: 1079g in 135mm QR 5mm config with steel axle and steel freehub.
Tubeless
I used a pair of Schwalbe rim strips that are the full internal width of the rim. Using these strips, tubeless setup was pretty easy with a compressor to inflated and valve core removed. I don't think you'd be able to set these up with just a track pump.
These rims are wide!!!
